This week we learned all about a farm and where our food comes from. We spoke about how Hashem makes the seeds that we plant grow. It was so much fun exploring in our sensory table filled with soil. We also made collages with beans that are the seeds of the plant. We filled a pot with soil and seeds and are watering it every day to see if it will grow. We planted it and know that Hashem is the one who will make it grow or not. We make Brachos on the food to thank Hashem for it.
In our Alef bais unit we meet a big letter chof. We had fun turning it from a kof to a chof by removing the middle dot. We decorated our very own little chof for our Alef bais chart too.
It was another busy week!We continued learning about winter. We made a snowman , a tree and funny faces from the recycling boxes. We also had an art class with Morah Svetlana. We read a new book, "Fill a Bucket," by Carol McCloud and Katherine Martin. Next week, we will begin to learn about our feelings.
As a class, we all illustrated drawings for Tu B'Shevat to learn about team work. We also made flowers using buttons. And of course we prepared the Challah dough.
Shabbat Shalom to everyone!
